94 Convertible - rear window
Fabric has pulled away from bottom of window. Was told the whole window needs replaced at $500 cost. Is there any other fix? and will insurance cover it? Is this a common occurence on convertibles? Thanks in advance.

Re: 94 Convertible - rear window
Don't think it's very common. - I'm just finishing installation of new top and rear window after 11 years. The fabric was only a litte ripped off from the glass. Unfortunately it looks that there is no reasonable repair. I tried all available glues , but nothing worked. Try to find an alternative glass that should not to be too expensive.
