Lightbulb Who's interested in leather seats for Foxstangs?

As far as I know, only the '89 Anniversary models had an option for leather seats.

How would you like to have your original seats, but in leather instead of cloth?

I've been talking with this cat who owns a place called Jax Seat Cover.

Right now they have a leather seat it for Grand Nationals and other turbo Regals. Here are some pics:

I approached him with the idea of offering the same kind of deal for Foxstangs. I don't know about anybody else, but I would love to have leather seats in my '88, that are the same as the originals (color, stitching, etc...).

If there's a lot of interest, I'll show him this thread and maybe that'll be more motivation for him to do it. Who knows, maybe we could even get him to offer a group purchase.

I'd definately be interrested. The interior of my car is all mismatched because of front seats breaking or sitting crooked and things like that. I've got about 3 different colors in my interior, and it looks like crap. I'd be willing to buy an entire interior set from this guy as long as the quality is there.

Tons of places sell leather interior for fox stangs. Texas mustang, Mustangs unlimited and several other places. 89 was not the only year you could get leather seats not sure if you could get them in all years but I know you could get them in 91-93's.

I got the front seats and the bottom part of the back from a 93 Convertible...then had the upper part of the my back seat redone in matching leather. Looks pretty cool. I've yet to see another coupe car with leather.

Do those other places sell their leather seats whole? Or are they just covers like what I pictured above?

And whatever they are, do they have the same stitching pattern as the stock cloth seats?

I've always wanted the seats from a Bullitt.

Why not a regular SN95? My car has the "sport bolstered seats" with the vertical stitching. Tres retro.

Go here.
http://www.parts123.com/PartFrame.as...=Texas_Mustang

When you get there do a search.

Also yearone.com has them too.

You have to recover your factory seats. I couldn't find a pic on the web but both of the catalogs have pics of the seats. They look just like factory seats b/c you could get leather from the factory.

Lots of stangs had factory leather seats.

Question: why recover garbage fox seats? Face it, fox seats are weak. Might as well upgrade to an aftermarket before dropping coin on leather covers.
