Need new tire advice
Hello folks,
This is my first posting here, and need some simple advice. My wife's silver '96 GT is in need of some new tires. The original Firehawks (P225/55ZR16) were VERY noisy and we want to avoid that this time. Both Goodyear and Michelin replacement "performance" tires run about 170 to 180 dollars each. Were are looking for something in the "less that 100 dollar" range, but can't seem to find any .55 aspect ratio tires that fit the bill. Can anyone recommend something that it quiet. M/S is not important. This is just a summer car used occasionally. Thanks. Ron N. ------------------ Silver 1996 GT |

Try http://www.tirerack.com/tires/SearchTires.jsp http://www.discounttire.com/dtc/right_tires.jsp
I like Tirerack then take it to a small shop and have them mouted. I hate discounttire They lose stuuf and messd my NEW rims up. I have KUMO tires they would be in the range you want [This message has been edited by Stang Runner (edited 06-16-2001).] |
