I went with 17x9 's in front and 17 x 10.5 in the rear. Tires are 255/45/17 and 285/40/17. I used Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's.

Here is another. Angle shot of the rear. You can see the "deep dish".

One last one - front wheel. You can see the rest at the Media Gallery.

They look great! I love how the deep dish Bullitt's look!

mustardjohn 03-07-2004 05:24 PM

You were right the dark wheels look super. I would have thought chrome but those look great on the dark car.

Calipers look great too. Still have not painted mine yet but the weather is getting a lot better. 76 and sunny here today.

Thanks guys...I value your opinion. Sorry for the screw ups with the photos.

Awesome rims, told you nothing looks better on a black Mustang!!

stanger9219 03-08-2004 12:39 AM

mustardjohn...whats the best way to paint the calipers? i dont know why but i never thought about it and now i want to do it.

mustardjohn 03-08-2004 08:32 PM

stanger9219, xxxBLAKExxx is the expert. There is a post on this board called Painting Calipers from a while back that you ought to read. It tells where to get the paint, etc.

Select posts from the last year and the post will be about half way down on the 1st page.

I don't know how to give you a link to the post or I would do that.

Stang_Crazy 03-08-2004 08:35 PM

Was this the thread??

xxxBlakexxx 03-08-2004 09:06 PM

No. There was an entire thread that I think I started that gave more detail. The thread that you took us to made reference to that when John mentione dthat he got the paint.

Let me see if I can find it.

Orange: Thanks!!! You the Man!

RED92LX50 03-09-2004 04:09 PM

Your wheels look really nice, and the brakes too - now just drop in some lowering springs to get rid of that 4x4 ride height :)

mustardjohn 03-09-2004 05:49 PM

This the thread

Stang_Crazy: seeing you post the thread made me think about it is done thanks.

xxxBlakexxx 03-09-2004 09:11 PM

Red:

I was waiting for someone to say that! Lowering springs are in the works soon hopefully.

Thanks, though...glad you like them.
