Question Question about Zaino....

I know this will probably get moved to appearance, but was hoping I could get some input from you guys and gals in Blue Oval.
Is Zaino worth the extra money and time? Would really appreciate your feed back.
Thanks,
Kelly

Thumbs up Zaino

I use it and it's worth the money and time. Works well if you do it right and don't try to cut corners or rush the job. The shine really lasts, too.

I did a Zaino wax job on my wife's Mazda 626 a year ago and it still gleams - with no garage (we live in the snowy northeast) and the car is driven 7 days per week, too.

Recommended.

Check out the Zaino website for more information:

I'll just echo Mr 5.0's response and say that Zaino is worth the time and effort without question. The hardest part is the initial process...dawn wash, clay bar, Zaino wash, then the polish. It willl take a while to do all of these steps but you will have an excellent base for the polish.

If you really get serious, try the ZFX additive. Using the ZFX, there is no cure time and you can do back to back coats (up to 3 per day). I use the ZFX and usually put 3 coats on my car every weekend

It is absolutely worth the money.
There is absolutely no product out there that can match it's protection, durability, and ease of use.
The only time you actually take a big hit on the wallet is the initial purchase, when you have to buy the entire package.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me an Email or IM (wcfoutsiders[@aol.com]), or a PM, I'd love to help.

First off, no wax layers. It is only designed to have silicone and other oils sit on top of your finish. If you "apply" another "coat" of wax, you're just putting on new silicone and not actually giving it a layering effect.
Secondly, no wax lasts a year. The first rain will wash off the same silicones and oils that give your car an "artificial" shine. Also, waxes have a melting point of around 115 degrees. Most car surfaces (the clearcoat especially) get to temperatures of 140-150 degrees, with darker colors getting up to 180.

that sounds good but it has no silicones or waxes and the more coats the better it worx and the hot sun helps it bond to the car.

I have heard formula 113 works as good as Zaino and is way easier to apply but I have never used either of them.

Kelly -
You should go to the Zaino website (www.zainobros.com) and email Sal, then ask him where the closest distributor is from you. This will help on shipping cost and time.
I need to suggest one more thing, which is very important -
A good set of towels.
Send me a PM if you'd like some more info on where to get these, price, how to use them (yes there is somethin to it ), etc.
