Default Seat Swap (mounting bracket)

First off im talking about my '97 Mustang GT 4.6L thats been in the driveway collecting dust for 5 or so months...

ok so i bought some seats along time ago that id like to put in... the stock brackets from the old seats (which are all torn up and such so had to relpace them) wont work. When i bolt them onto my new eats it makes it more narrow and the bolt holes do not line up... without buying any new brackets does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on how to go about building my own brackets? google isnt work for me i cant seem to find anything helpful.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like the rails need to be moved out correct? I would take some flat steel, weld it to the top rail having it extend outward, then drill a hole in the flat steel that aligns with the bolt holes in the seat. Hope you can figure out what im talking about!
