Accent Pieces
Hey Guys & Girls,
Got a question where can I get interior brushed aluminum accent pieces for my 2000 Stang? I'm specifically looking for the door jamz and the frame that goes around the temperature and stereo control area. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed! Thanks! ------------------ Yours in SPEED=======D Mandy aka GTGRL00 |

I don't think that what info you are requesting is all that popular. I'm not sure if I know what you looking for but, try some of the ad's in MMFF, or try mustangs unlimited, they have alot of restoration items and after market ad on's. good luck

Back when I was getting my interior done I think I saw a few places that have the items that you are looking for. Let me rack my brain for awhile and remember where I saw them. Might I suggest you just get those pieces painted. Its what I did with my car. It looks ten times better. If you wanna see what Im talkin about, my car is the Dec. "Mare of the Month". I have a highly polished brushed aluminum dash bezel overlay. Is your car silver? Well let me know if you want them painted. My painter lives out in Diamond Bar, Cali.

Hey Frogger,
Thanks for replying. I was beginning to think the look I desired did not exsist. Your Stang looks great, although I don't think I want a painted look but can this Painter that you know acheive the brush aluminium look that I want? and yes my Stang is silver. One more question how would I remove the pieces that I want to get painted? anyhow thanks, I look forward to hearin' from you again. ------------------ Yours in SPEED=======D Mandy aka GTGRL00 |

I just checked out the site again and they did have some of the trim pieces in brushed aluminum, but I know my friend found a place that made every interior trim piece for his 4runner, so I will try to get the name of the company from him to see if they make stuff for Mustangs.

Sorry it took forever to reply...long story.
Anywho here is the website to the guy who did my interior. Great guy to talk to on the phone, very helpful. Tell you how to take out the pieces and everything. See if he can get you your customized look. I know I love mine. Not sure if he is still painting, it was kinda his side job (though he had my stuff done in a week). You can email him at: RRR46pwr@aol.com He used to have a webpage to display his work, cant remember the addy. Guess I'll look for it. ------------------ 2K blown electric green GT Mustangworks, Girlscantoo "Dec. Mare of the Month" [This message has been edited by Frogger (edited 01-22-2001).] |
