Foggy 2001 Mustang headlight lenses
How do I remove the plastic lens from the 2001 Mustang headlight assembly. The inside of the lens is cloudy.

Re: Foggy 2001 Mustang headlight lenses
I just replaced MY 2001 GT stock headlights, the car was in a minor front-end colision from the original owner (rich girl doesn't know how to drive nice $28,000 car Muffy and Thurston buy for her) and the dealer that the car was turned into decided to do THE crappiest fix-up job, leaving me with a busted left foglight (which they glued back on thinking I wouldn't notice before I bought it and then had to replace anyway) and the original headlights were foggy. Thats caused by water getting behind the plastic lens when the rubber adhesive wears or is torn away. Your best bet unfortunately is to find another set of stock 2001 headlights somewhere like Ebay Motors. They're hard to find used, and original OEM lights run between $200 and $300 a piece NEW (Thats 2-300 PER light). If you try to unscrew and then pry the lens off you'll damage the light and won't be able to put it back together anyway.
