![]() I have a '94 GT convertible. I need to replace the front gasket over the windshield. I got a replacement gasket from a wrecked mustang at a junk yard.
The I have is whether I need to put any type of adhesive on the gasket when I put it on? It did not appear to have had any on it when I removed it from the wrecked car. The windshield frame has a couple of channels in it and the underside of the gasket is molded to match the the top of the windshield. Can anyone tell me if I should apply an adhesive to the gasket and if so, what type should I use and whee should I apply it on the gasket and or windshield frame? |
