I've used the Mequires's tire protectant. It does last long and does not turn brown. It is a gel like product that comes with a special curved aplicator. It works pretty well except it tends to collect in any lettering or grooves or depressions on the tire. I still prefer the Armorall, just spray a little on a rag and wipe it off.
