Unhappy Door window weatherstrip for 86 convertible

Ford has discontinued the weatherstrip along the outside of the door on the 86 convertible. My chances of finding anything in decent shape at a junkyard are slim. Does anyone know who makes these now? JC Whitney doesn't seem to have them, and I haven't found them anywhere else. Thanks.

Be patient and try boneyards that are in smaller towns. I was able to get a set from a car that looked to have been garaged most of its life. Check around, these hard to get pieces sometimes take a little time and digging to find. Happy hunting

I suggest you check out Texas Mustang and use the web (and a search engine) to find NOS parts. They are available but you have to search.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the tip. I had never heard of NOS before. My search found several sources - I'll have to call.
