Question best car wax

What is a good car wax that shines long and is excellent at restoring that dull finish on older cars. My '82 and '88GT are have some spots where the paint is really dull. I have tried all kinds of waxes but they all seem about the same to me.
I heard those car detailing shops have some pretty potent stuff but I don't know what they use.
Anybody have suggestions??

Try out Zaino show car polish. www.zainobros.com
It will outlast any store-bought wax or polish. It is the easiest to use and comes off smoothly with no residue. I used meguires 3 step and gold class for years but have now switched to zaino. Try it out!!
