Just heard an advertisement for Meguires (sp?) tire protectant on the radio. Just call 1-800-347-5700, then press option #7. After answering a few questions, they will send you a sample of the tire protectant for free! Not bad, yeah?

They claim that the stuff is the best tire protectant ever - lasting up to 3-4 weeks! Even with rain! Also, they claim that it will not produce that "brown" look some tires get after tire protectants have worn off. Sounds like good stuff, so might as well get some for free.

I've used the Mequires's tire protectant. It does last long and does not turn brown. It is a gel like product that comes with a special curved aplicator. It works pretty well except it tends to collect in any lettering or grooves or depressions on the tire. I still prefer the Armorall, just spray a little on a rag and wipe it off.
