Export tail lights?
A friend of mine is moving to Spain, and would like to take his 2003 GT. Does anyone know where to buy export tail lights, in order to make it legal? The so-called 'Euro' tail lights from companies like APC won't cut it.

I found this
http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ast-A...tail~light.htm Also read some posts that said if a car was exported the manufacturer should have the tail lights. So you might try calling Ford as I expect the 03 GT was exported. Or try the dealer althought they usually look at you with a blank expression the parts department may be able to help.

Thanks for the reply John. The lights at that link aren't what he needed, although I found true export tail lamps. www.karkraft.com has them. Go to the site, click on '99-04 Mustang', and scroll down to 'Cobra tail lamp conversion'. Those are the same as export tail lamps. Just in case anyone else is headed across the pond.
