Default wax

Has anyone tried the new wax from MEguiars NXT? I think MOthers came out with something similar. Supposedly easier to remove the wax. There is a big price difference from what I saw between the NXT and their gold

I used it on my black Silverado, not impressed at all. Gold Class is better. I don't use anything but Zaino on my Mustangs.

Used it on my 05 Redfire - totally cleaned the paint first - it looks HOT and when the sun hits it, the metallics in the paint really show - also looks like the Stang is somewhat wet in partial shade ....only one coat though - need to do a second sometime this week. A friend of mine says Gold is better - have not tried that yet -

I used gold class a few years ago and liked it. It was pretty easy to apply and remove, gave a nice shine, and wasn't too expensive.

I'm currently using S100. Also called P21S. I'd also like to try some of the Poorboys line soon.

Here's are some shots of the S100 Granted, these are shade shots (with the sun on the other side of the truck) but it still looks good.

Stang Crazy - Nice ! - do you like the s100 better than the gold class ? Put a second coat of Meguiars NXT on the Stang this week and it looks better - road contaminents come off easier also ....

I LOVE the S100. It's a paste that goes on 'like butta' and is immediately removed (while still wet). It doesn't smear, it doesn't streak, it doesn't leave a splotchy finish, and it doesn't get any easier to apply. Wipe on, wipe off. Like the karate kid, LOL.

You can find it at your local Harley Davidson shop for around $30 a jar. A jar will last you a year, EASY. And if you don't like it, you're only out $30.

I'd like to try the NXT sometime too. I keep hearing very good things about it

EDIT: For a quick detailer, I use Pinnacle Crystal Mist....and I LOVE that too.

Thanks Stang_Crazy - i also use the NXT Speed Detailer in between washes and can go longer w/o washing - especially if it does not rain....also - car looks good every day and everyone thinks i spend a whack of time on it !! - plan to try the spray wax this weekend to see how it compares to the liquid

I use Zaino bros. car wax and car wash...it is the best I have ever used!! My car shines incredibly after waxing and stays that way for a month or more.
