rumors about going faster
is it true that there are things you can do for your car to make it go faster and perform better without buying bolt ons or power adders. all i know of for the 5.0 is the aod trans thing but thats it. is there other things? some *** who doesnt know jack about stangs says he bought a book for 76 bux and he wont show anyone. is this true?

if there is little tricks i sure could use them

#1 remove the air silencer
#2 bump the timing
#3 remove weight
#4 K&N filter
#5 bypass EGR
ect ect ect

there was a post with a link about the free things to do to a new mustang i dont have it but you could probable search the archives and find it.

Not to get to HP400RW You will need to make some $ mods to attain that!


As mentioned, lose weight and do a complete tune to make it run strong. But there aren't many something-for-nothing mods (unless you are talking about home-porting stock heads/intake)... some that are cheap include pulleys, exhaust, gears (won't make more power, but a more usable powerband).
