rust while apart
I live up in washington and i just recently took apart my mustang. The fuel pump is off and the cylinder heads are open to the atmosphere. It's under a covered area with the hood down, but i'm concerned the inside of the engine is going to rust. Any tips/things i should do? Should i be worried?

About the only thing you can do is wipe it down with oil. If it will be apart for awhile, get some marine fogging oil, it works great for keeping rust off the engine.

You can also use WD-40 or another agent that will protect it from rusting and disapate the water. If your car is kept in a cold garage make sure you have a de-humidifer or it could actually rust your exhaust from the inside out.
