About how much should it cost to redo a front windshield. I'm getting leakage in the front under the dashboard and I can't see any other place it'd be leaking from. I have taken off some of the trim on the Mustang from the front windshield and I saw some places that looked not so good.

I need to basically have the windshield removed, body work around the windshield (windshield frame, I guess you could say) to get rid of any rust and then bondo (or whatever) it (Just fix it), then put the windshield back in with a new seal so it never leaks ever never ever again. $300? $400, $500???? I need a clue and any advice you can give me. THis is stopping me from putting in my carpet and I would like to get this crap out of the way. THANKS.

I would say that it's hard to estimate how much a repair would cost if we can't see the damage first hand. I would suggest taking it to a couple of body shops in your area and have them check out the damage and give you an estimate for repair. Harry |

Thanks, yeah, that's what I'm gonna do tomorrow. Gonna go to a few places and let them give me some estimates on it. Thanks again.
