Why is this model of Mustang called "Windsor"?
(I'm pretty sure it's not because of how you feel after a long ride with the top down) ![]() |

Ford casts 351s in their Windsor, Ontario plant. HO 5.0s are not really Windsors. They share the same firing order, though. This forum should probably be called Pushrod V8 Power.

I guess to answer your question more directly, Windsor is a reference to an engine, not a model of Mustang.
