Trouble installing a body kit.

I've been doing alot of heavy body mods to my SN95 '96 GT getting ready to paint. I glassed in and bondo'd sidescoops, and shaved the door handles. Now I'm installing the Invader body kit I got off ebay and the fit is terrible. I knew I had to mod the sideskirts because they have sidescoops in them I didn't like, but the front fit where the front/bottom fender meets the kit has about 3/4" space that lloks like crap! Did anyone out there install this kit? What did you do about the gap? The only thing I can think of is to split the tab where the bolts go through, increase the angle and glass it again, but I'm not even sure if that will work. ANY suggestions would be more than welcome.

Re: Trouble installing a body kit.

:D Well, I ended up glassing in the whole body kit and bondo over that. It was alot of work, but now that I'm spraying it, it appears to have been worth it. It's really cool with no seams. The only disadvantage to this is the fact that I can't remove the front fenders if I wanted to install the lanbo doors. This was something I already considered, but decided against anyway.
