Default 17" Wheels on a 90 - Bullit wheels

My son likes the Bullit wheels. will 17" wheels fit on a 1990 stang? What tire size would I have to get if they do? Currently tires are 225 60/15. thanks.

the 17'' bullit wheels will fit, but you will have to do a 5 lug conversion. I have seen people run 255/ 40 R17, but the stock 245/ 45 r17 will fit as well

I was informed that the 245's would rub up front unless you rolled the fenders or put 91-93 fenders on it. You should have no problem running 235 with stock fenders though. ~Brian

I dunno if you have your heart set on the BULLIT wheels but they are just the old fashioned TORQUE THRUST D wheels.. might be able to get them cheaper if you get those rather then from ford..

I run 275-40-17's on the back of my 91 LX Vert. I had to take off the quad shocks but that's it. They even clear my polished tail pipes just fine and they look hella sweet under there.

But you have to make sure you have aftermarket control arms before you remove the quad shocks or you will have really bad wheel hop. ~Brian

Yea sorry, I probably should have mentioned that. I have the problem of assuming eveybody does control arms first.
