Window Tint
Anyone else in here have a late model that they have had the windows tinted on ? I want to know if my detailer was blowing smoke or not. They left about a 4 inch gap at the top of my rear window. they said that because of the baked enamel that manufactures are putting at the top of the windows, they couldnt run the tint all the way up. if anyone has had this experience, please email me and let me know how you got around that crappy look.

I remember hearing about that once. I don't know if it was just one of my friends joking but supposedly you have to scrape the enamel off with a razor. Don't take my word for it though, but I thought I'd through in a little note about it.

I have a '03 GT and just got my windows tinted. They went all the way up on my back window. However, I've seen other mustangs on the road with that 4 inch gap...I don't understand it, but I thought I'd let you know I didn't have any problems.

Sheesh, that's the first I've heard of that.
Maybe my car is too old school, but on my '92 GT, the tint comes all the way up to about 3 mm. You can just call your local Ford dealer and see what they have to say about it!

I have never heard of that before either. All of my windows except the windshield is tinted and they're all completely tinted.
