Cobra to 5.0 Trans
Hi:
My friend is getting rid of a 1998 Cobra trans (stick). I was wondering if it will bolt on to a 1990 5.0 LX coupe T5????? A mechanic at the Ford dealer said it will. It just sounds a little weird. He assured it will. But, if it can what will be needed for the conversion? Thanks in advance. |

Absolutely nothing is needed.
But a word of advice, do a clutch, adj. cable, and steel bearing retainer while your at it. Why is he getting rid of the cobra?? is it still good...I live in fresno and looking for a spare tranny, let me know. ------------------ 4.10's,long tubes & 75 shot...Goes 12.50's Check it out at http://www.burnouts.webprovider.com |

oops...didn't look at the year of the cobra.
I'm not sure what trans is even in it.... '95 and older are ok though. |
