Default Re: Question on a 1998 Mustang Cobra

yea unless ur stroking it or bring the compression ratio up you wont feel much of a differance other than its a new engine..but if ur doing all that u can add a nice power adder...but u have to do other mods for like big shot of nitrous turbo or blower...but befor u go and rebuild it u have to know what mods you are goin to dao after u rebuild the motor. that all plays a role in the pistons and rod ....take this for example if u go and rebuild it and lets say u now have 11 to 1 compression now thats to high to put a turbo or blower.just sit down and think of what u wanna do ...all the mods u do have to coraspond with each other or ur car could go slower or ever blow up..ive seen so many people just buy parts and not go fast ..just like my buddy hes got prolly 5 grand in his 1989 5.0 and its barley braking into the 12's...all the mods just mave to work with each other or ur just throwing money down the crapper...from reading your other questions u should got to a local proformance shop and talk to them so they can point u in the right direction
