Questions about Saleen S-351
 

I have seen a few S-351 in the price range I can afford I have a few questions about them.
I know 495 hp is allot but how hard would it be to get say 550 hp?
What kind of trap speeds are they getting in the 1/4 stock?
Was 95 the first year with the suprecharger?

It shouldn't be too hard to up the output to 550hp - with proper fuel and boost upgrades.

i thought saleen had their numbers? oh well. yeah the numbers above are correct but they dont make the S351 any more. i have heard that they might be making a replacement for the S351. www.saleen.com

MM&FF did a test on a 96 S351..480 hp, not the 495(Saleen claims 507) 11.33@122 on slicks. 12.7@121 on street tires, and a 4.6 0-60. Top speed...R&T did a top speed test and it hit 188 on a hot day in the desert. 550 hp....piece of cake. Upgrade the boost, get a better cam and port the heads. $550=550 hp.

94 was the first year for the blown Saleen...the SR.
