This is my first posting to the board.. I have been reading through the other posts and see that this is the place to be for getting an answer to my question.

My question is one involving a slight whirring noise and some clunky motion in my shifter.. The noise and rough action appear when shifting into second gear and when shifting out into 3rd gear. This also happens in the opposite direction (3rd to 2nd) So far it has been usually when I start out from the yard on a regular drive and then later on I don't notice it except for when coming off a light in traffic or something similar.

This whole issue started up on me last Friday night when I went for a ride with a friend .. We let the pony's out and I think I might of shifted it kinda rough...

I can even hear the noise sometimes when parked with the engine running... If I move the shifter around to the right places it makes the little whirring sound.

Is this my imagination or is something happening that should be looked at????
