You might want to wait for Chris to verify this, but I think you have a 1980 302. Ford used letters to represent decades ie: C was for the 60's, D was for the 70's and E was for the eighties etc. EOAE should be the year, type, and what plant the engine was made at. This is my guess from what I can remember.
