Timing adjustment with Steeda adjuster
What is the correct setting for timing for max power with the Steeda adjuster? Stock is 10. If I crank it to 20 and run 120 jet fuel will I run 9's?!!! Just kidding, but what are the limits of this situation-is there a point of diminishing returns on power the further the timing is advanced? I know eventually detonation will occur, but for instance: on raceday could I run super-high octane gas and set the timing higher than for normal driving? How do you play with these things? (I am putting on Steeda pulleys at the same time). Thanks!
