![]() Hi there, I am in the market to purchase a mustang. Initally I wanted a Cobra but recently a Saleen Convertible sounds better. I would really like the s-351, it sounds like its fast and has a lot of power! Can anyone give specifics on these cars, their opinion of it, and is it worth the price?
Thanks, C ya Emily |

![]() In my opinion, horsepower wise, they are not worth the money. However, how many people do you see driving around town with a Saleen S-351 Convertable? I have never even seen one!
You can always buy a new Cobra, do maybe a good engine buildup from SHM and spend $8000 plus a supercharger and accessories with another $5000, and have more horsepower and reliablity than the Saleen S-351. In the end, its all up to you. DO you want a Cobra or a Saleen? ------------------ Moderator www.SN95.com 1994 Mustang Cobra 308ci, ported heads, Crane 2031 cam, Vortech S-trim 11#, FMS 1 5/8 headers, BBK Offroad H-pipe, 2-chamber flows, and several other goodies.
