What should I buy?
I am buying a new mustang within a month, but I don't know what to buy. I've narrowed my choices to either a 2001 Cobra or Saleen s281SC. This will be my daily driver. I can afford either but the payments for the Cobra look alot better My fear is that I will spend alot more upgrading a Cobra and lose my warranty in the process. I'm not into ground effects and decorations I just want serious power and good handling, with dependability, of course. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'd say get the SALEEN if you're not planning on modifications and the warranty is the most desirable thing.
I'd say get the Cobra and put on a blower and add some handling items ... call it a day. Consider sending the Cobra to STEEDA to get the additions? Best of both worlds and you get a warranty. ------------------ K! Thanks everyone! SMOKE, I didn't think about doing the STEEDA thing, Good idea
I signed the deal for the Cobra tonight. Hope to pick it up tomorrow evening. Both cars are awesome, no doubt, but the Cobra made more sense. 17K is alot of money and A tweeked out Cobra is going to be better for what I want than a Saleen. 320hp to start, Independant rear suspension, and the seats are more comfy too You'll be seeing me around, with a new name, of course. |
