Question Hi flow cats X/H pipe???

I am thinking of replacing the cats in my 88GT. I have heard that an x or h pipe will add horsepower is this true?

Can any one recommend an X or H pipe and hi flow cats?

Give me your opinion on the whole matter, are these mods worth it? Do you have any comments?

Must be street legal!!

I have equal length headers and dynomax exhaust. I also have 3:55 gears, gt40 intake lower is proted &polished, aftermkt throtle body cold air intake.

Well i bought some BBK Longtube headers , and a shorty hi flow h pipe with cats, i love the sound , but i think i am going to go to an off road x pipe or just dump the exhaust b/c of the use fro my 87 stang. BBK sells hi flow cat h pipes not sure aboutu x though.....

I believe BBK is making the shorty x-pipe's, might want to check it out, I forget where I heard they're going to make them but it's definately something I'd get. ~Brian

Default a good exhaust

on my 94 cobra i have full Bassani exhaust. it sounds bad ***! bassani headers, bassani x-pipe, bassani mufflers with turn-downs. i would definatly get an x-pipe. cant beat the sound. and ive heard they free up a little bit of power.
