chrome/stainless steel tail pipes
im about to buy some 2.5 inch LX tail pipes for my 90 tang but dont know if i should go with stainless steel or chrome?
the chrome ones will prolly be plated im guessing? so will they be the ones that u see on the street that are flaking and look llike shit? im guessing the stainless steel ones will look better longer? i found a brand new set of chrome ones for 100 bucks should i get those or spend a lil more and get the stainless steel? |

Re: chrome/stainless steel tail pipes
Don't waste your time and money on chrome. Even after wiping down after rain and spraying inside with paint, mine rusted out quickly (Florida car).

Stainless. Factory was even stainless on those. Most bang for the buck, just as long as your wallet says "OK".

Re: chrome/stainless steel tail pipes
Go Stainless. I recently detailed a 93 LX Vert, I thought the exhaust tips were all rusted and crappy, I used 0000 steel wool and Greased Lightning, then followed up with NeverDull, the stainless tips looked brand new.
