Question Stupid Question on wheels

My 95 has 17x8 wheels. I want to get 17x9 Cobra R's or something else in that size so I can fit 275/40/17's all the way around. Will there be fit problems? The back shouldn't be a problem but what about up front?

I doubt that you will have any problems. My buddy runs Cobra Rs on his 96 Cobra with no issues.

I have the same wheels on my '91 LX, but I had to do a fair amount of "massaging" to get them to fit.

No, I'd be cautious of the 275's up front. Go with 255's on front, 275's on back.

By the way, you have a beautiful car! What have you done to it engine wise? Did you choose the 302 over the 281 for any reason?

Thanks for the replies guys! Thanks for the props on my car Cobrayankee, but as of now I have not done that much to it. The previous owner put on 3 chamber Flows and today I put in a Tri Ax. But I have plans for the car, but it will probably be slow since I just bought a house .

Well, I picked the 302 because I am more familiar with it and I see that there is alot more that can be done than with the DOHC.

I have a '94 Cobra and right now I'm running 1999 Cobra wheels with no problem. I've also run the big 17" Nittos and BFG DR's and not had any problames at all. My cobra can be seen at: http://www.cobracentral.net
