Question Question: Why do posers leave stock wheels on?

Walking back from lunch on Walnut St in Philadelphia today I saw a FAKE Rousch driving down the street... My question is, Why leave your STOCK GT wheels on it? If you are going to be a poser, at least be a DETAILED and ACCURATE poser???

Otherwise, leave your stoopid "Rousch" stickers and crappy body kit off until you can afford the wheels (or at least Cobra Rs or something aftermarket).......tachy, tachy, tachy

My car came with the Saleen kit and stock 17 in tri-bar wheels. I think it looked ok (no Saleen decals or anything). I don't see ALL cars with body kits and stock wheels as posers, bc not all are trying to BE a Roush or a Saleen, you know? I must say though, body kits USUALLY look better with some spiffy aftermarket wheels.

I work at a ford dealership and a V6 mustang came in with Roush stickers on the windshield and rear window (front one was horribly crooked) and Roush logo shoulder belt pads, with a mustangworld sticker at the bottom of the rear window.....but was completely stock otherwise. I laughed.

No, that was probably one of the EXTREMELY limited Rousch V6s.
It "appears" to be bone stock to the naked eye. The only "hint" to give it away is a purposely crooked front sticker.

Sure, it "looks" stock and "sounds" stock, but wait until you try to rip it down the track. You might break your neck runnin LOW 17's man.....

There was a guy I went to highschool with who got a 96 v-6 and slapped the saleen stuff on it right away. Very lame looking with the little 3 spokes. I saw the car recently and it didn't age very well either.

People do it because they don't really understand. And they have to wait for the next allowance to buy the rest of the stuff. Kids these days, eh?

I don't know if i could handle LOW 17's that's pretty darn fast. I heard about these mini-vans......stock they run 17's.....oh yeah, that's just about any minivan
