c4 vs tremec 3550
are the gear ratios the same in these two trannies how is the streetablity of the c4

the driveability depends a lot on what stall you are going to run. the only real downfall is a c4 is only a 3spd, with no overdrive. so if you drive on the highway 3.73 would be the tallest gear i would go with. i am trying to sell my whole tremec 3550 setup to go with a c4. if you have a pretty mild combo i would just go with a 3550.

I have a c-4 with a 10' 3500 stall covertor with 373's and a 28 tall tire and i love it. Like sn95gt says the downfall is no over drive so it revs quite a bit. It all depends on what your looking for.
