What SVT
Who owns what SVT here... and, how do you like it? What's your experience?

I own a 2001 SVT Cobra. I have had 3 paint jobs and 3 transmissions all from factory defects. Ford has fixed all with no cost to me. I have a couple mods in my sigs. All-in-All I love the car.

2003 SVT focus. Mods: Steeda short throw shifter, Steeda cold air intake, and VF engineering motor mount. I really like this car. It has 27,000 miles and NO problems. It handles extremely well. And stops faster than anything I've ever driven. It does lack some power but that could just be because I'm used to the stang. :D

2003 Cobra #2337, 1 of 197 Redfire Coupes with Tan Parchment inserts. I absolutely love this car. Bought it new in Feb 04 and I am about to roll 13k in it in the next week or 2. Only mods so far is a 95mm C&L and a K&N Conical. Baselined the car with just the K&N and put down 412rwhp/394rwtq with the standard correction. Ran a 13.3 @ 106 in 6000' air. I should be heading out next month when it cools off at night and shoot for 12's the way it sits.

97 SVT Cobra... best car I've ever owned. I'm a former F-body owner who got bit by a snake this past July... Best decision I've ever made. Now I eat Fbodies for lunch.

i got a 98 cobra, i cream my pants whenever i look at it. No problems so far at 60,000 miles.

Just bought a 2001 Lightning about a month ago. 21k miles and it's absolutely mint. Stock except for traction bars and flowmaster catback. It has balls, is comfy, is unique, can haul crap, and can tow crap. So far I'm loving it. :) :) :) :)

I don't own an SVT yet...my friend has a 96 Mystic Cobra I would love to take off his hands any time he gets tired of it. He bought it from the original owners, keeps it clean enough to eat off of.

I have a 04 cobra mods are in the sig. I drive it alot like it was meant too. I bought it new in sept. with 62 miles and it has 15,000 now and I have only driven it to work 3 times!

Just bought my Cobra a couple weeks ago..... Have had my L over a year and I love it. Prior to that I have owned 7 Fox Stangs with the last one being a Florida SSP coupe with a carbed 347 and some spray. 10.08 in the 1320 was the last pass before I sold it. :( |

Love It... I plan to add CAI, pulley, exhaust, and what-not for 500 hp, as soon as the warrany expires...

I bought my '98 Cobra a couple of months ago and LOVE it. Very easy daily driver, good A/C, fast, comfortable, great stereo, good looks, good mileage. What more can you ask from a car?

I have a 1999 Cobra. All black, even the interior is all black. This is my third Cobra. I have owned a 1979,2003, and now a 1999. This is the first one I have had trouble with. I can not seem to get any answers to my oil leak problem. I guess I will just have to go to Ford directly.

New on this board, I own a torch red 10th anniversary Cobra coupe. I love it, mods are listed below as well as a link to a gallery. It has run a 12.6 in Albuquerque (alt. 5400ft). Hey Chris H are you the same Chris H from SVTperf.?

Had a 02 lightning(yellow w/real looking flames high $) drunk driver totaled it for me(pissed) loved it!
Had a 03 Cobra(incedesent purple,blue,hint of green)conv. nos 625 rwhp,w/roll bar. Wrecked into big tree backwards about 128mph spun it in corner in great falls,VA Fun road to drive on if isnt damp. In Process of 03 focus(yellow) svt zx3 stock for now. ross |
