2002 Mustang with Nitro?

I have a 2002 gt with a bbk air intake, bbk 78mm TB, bbk shorty headers, Mac pullies, unknown x-pipe, no cats, and flowmasters, short shift, sway bar, and 18's- nitto drags radials on back. Would I be safe to run about 75 shot of nos? It is also an every day car, and it doesnt usually see the track, just highway. I really cant afford to blow it up thow.

Nos has NO place in a car that you ALSO use as your everyday vehicle bro.

If you are adament on jacking NOS, you should consider a dedicated street racting Stang. There are a crazy number of reasons for this, but I'll mention just two.

First, NOS is so tempermental that it can completely ruin your car if it is accidentally engaged at a low speed. Worse, it can blow up the car, and you.

Second, if it is your everyday car you need reliability more than crazy speed spurts, so lean conservative and avoid the tanks.

Scot.

dude are you kidding... stop watching the F n F it wont blow the car up and it wont blow him up

dont take this wrong but if you dont know what your talking about please dont respond

now I dont agree with street racing but a 75 shot is fine... just make sure to run 1 step colder spark plugs and get a 2nd tune for the spray and one for all motor....

to stop the Nitrous from coming on to low of a RPM just get a window switch set yo come on at 3500 rpm and shut off about 5900 also make sure you a wide open throttle switch so it wont come unless at full throttle

and please unless you are looking at a N.O.S kit please dont call it nos thats a brand name and only the ricer peeps turned that into slang for nitrous, spray, juice, jug, etc etc etc but please not nos

How big of a shot did you use? And what brand. Is Zex a good brand? Or Venom? I get most of my stuff off american Muscle. I think thats all the brands they have. Thanks for the response.

i was running a NOS wet kit,125 shot,i ahd the timing at 10* spout out,1 heat range colder plug, fuel pressure at 44 psi and 24lb injectors, those were on the car first.zex is a good kit also.as long as you stay on the safe side you will be fine.if you dont have any thing to tune, just read the plugs, make sure you dont have any pinging(detination) and i kept mine alittle on the fat side(rich).

what a retard, "nitrous" is not dangerious, nitrous is safe and u can run it on a dd car..!if you are running 125 shot, have the fuel pressure around 44psi,have 2 stage colder plugs, then get a retard box and pull some timming out of it..its just funny when people talk about nitrous and say its so bad and never messed with it..i have had 3 kits on my car when it had the stock bottom end and installed many kits ,i ran between 125-175 shot, and because i had it set up right it never back fired, poped or anything...nitrous doesnt kill motors, the person installing it does!!
