That's pretty decent power you're making. What all is done to your motor? Considering how light weight those replica Cobras are, I'd say you can definitely get into the 12s! If for some reason you can't, get yourself some slicks & you'll get there for sure. Do you know how much yours weighs?! My Dad built a really nice replica Cobra when I was a kid (like 9 or 10 years old). It didn't have an actual 427 in it. It had a 400 small block in it. I don't know why he put a Chevy motor in a replica of a Ford Cobra...but it was still one of the greatest cars I ever rode in. I think his weighed something like 2300-2400lbs. That thing moved out alright. Of course I did melt my leg onto the sidepipes a couple of times. But hey, that's the price you pay for getting the adrenaline rush of riding in a Ford Cobra!
