black magic -> T-trim clearance ??

We've got a Fluidyne Aluminum radiator and a Black Magic Flex-a-Lite electric fan. We're putting on our T-Trim bracket and noticed there's not much clearance between the new crank polley which came with the T-Trim and the Flex-A-Lite fan.

Does anyone else have this combo and not having this problem? Do I need to go with a push type electric fan and mount on outside of radiator?

i had a 8 rib drive system on a s-trim. i had a motorsport 3 row alum. radiator and a black magic fan and it cleared if i slid it over to the side. i bought a f-1 procharger with a 10 rib and the black magic would not clear. i bought the twin fan set-up from be cool. i had to grind down the motor mount pads on the fan and it cleared. Very tight but it worked.

how does the twin fan setup from becool working out? Any issues with overheating?

I really don't want to go back to a stock fan!

Dump the Black Magic Flex-a-Lite fan and either replace it with a Ramcharger fan, or the dual Spal (Be Cool) fan mentioned above. I also have the Spal fan and it moves every bit of the 2750 CFM they advertise. You will not overheat with this fan, and it's only about 4" thick if you trim down the shroud a bit.
