Default Blower recomendation

Who makes a good "entry" level blower? Model #? Expected cost?

ati prochargers are nice, they come standard with an intercooler, www.speedworx.com has them the cheapest I have seen for a little over 3k. also the novi 1000rr is reallly nice, their mounting bracket is the best I have seen, which helps when trying not to throw a belt!! Though you may be able to get the s/c cheap expect close to a grand maybe more for installation (if you dont trust yourself) as well as dyno tuning! hope this helps!

i am most impressed with anderson ford motorsport vortech kits. They have several kits put together with pms controllers. I just added a pms to my vert with an s-trim. Lovein it so far. I really like the tech support from anderson. I did not buy the blower kit from him, but after i blew up a motor trying to run a btm, i bought a pms from anderson. While shopping for the pms i noticed the blower kits from them come with a pms. Very good tuning. I run 15 lbs, nonintercooled. trapping 121 in the quarter for starters

ATI stage 2 w/3core $3491.50 @ www.superchargers4less.com
+ you have to buy 42 lbs injectors and copper core plugs. I got the injectors from steeda for $310. Depending on your year I think you have an 01 I can't remember but with that kit 99-04 they give you a choice from 8lbs to 12lbs pulleys.

Duh it says it right under the pic of your car. You can get a 10lb or 12 lb kit and be perfectly safe with this kit.

Thanks guys! Sure makes me think. But I think I am going to add N02 first simply due to cost.

You know, I found an awesome Steeda Mustang 4 sale with $13k worth of Steeda crap on the car. '00 GT Vert with 30k miles for $19,000. If I want an SC car, I wonder if I would be better off selling mine and buying something like this. No, I am not going to, but it sorta makes you think.

Yeah nitrous is definately the cheapest most significant power adder on the marker!! Supercharger definately aren't cheap!! It does make you think, specially if you can buy a car like that used that you think has been treated well, it sure is almost worth it, unless you just wanna do all the wrench time yourself, which is also understandable. Personally thats what I would want.....to build it myself. Let us know what you end up doin!!

Well superchargers are not cheaper upfront the bottle adds up at $40 a fill. It just depends how much you will use it, that and the ntirous is not always there.

I like the S-trims for a entry level kit and it grows a little (I hope to trap 130 with it). Look for used kits they can be a great value.
