older GT to V6 LCAs, possible?
Quick question for you guys. I have an 87GT, which I’m going to be getting rid off. My wife has a 2000 Vert v6 and I’m thinking of switching few parts into her car, especially the aftermarket suspension parts. Is there a way to put the lower control arms from the 87 into the 2000 V6? I belive the mounting holes are bigger by 2mm from '98 and up? Am I right? Is there anything I can do to make it fit and work properly?
Thanks Chris. |

Going from 87-93 car to 94-98 maybe... beyond that I am not familiar with the suspension compatibility.

If the control arms have polyurethane bushings, you can change the steel sleeve to accommodate the larger diameter bolt on the 99-04. Call the manufacturer and tell them you need just the sleeves to make your control arms fit. If they won't get them for you I probably can.
