You'll be fine with cams up to about 228@.050 and lifts of about .540". A piston to valve check is always a good idea though. I'd put one of the heads on, do the P-V check and then decide whether or not you've got to get rid of them. I've bolted them on a stock bottom end though with cams in this range and had no problems whatsoever.
