For the most part as you mod them their gas mileage gets better unless you do a power adder or put gears in them. I was getting 23mpg on the highway when I had Trickfllow H/C/I and 3.55 gears. Ofcourse the hard part is keeping your foot out of it when you have all these mods

Default fuel economy

My 1991 GT with 20 000 original miles actually improved in economy after I put the Vortech blower on it. The engine is basically stock except for shorty headers, cat-back, C &L meter, and the Vortech A-trim. Prior to the blower install I was getting 25-26 m/gal on the highway, now I am getting 27m/gal. The car has 3.08 gears, and the RPMs are about 1800 at 75m/hr. I usually get very close to 400 miles out of a tank of gas.

City driving, I don't keep track of, but I would likely guess that it would be around 20m/gal.

Keep in mind I drive this car fairly easy, if you drive your car hard, it's going to burn more fuel.

Hope this helps.
