Since you are running a wet kit, assuming your tune is very good, you can spray a 200 shot without blowing the motor.

Nitrous doesnt destroy motors. Nitrous + a lean condition destroys motors.

Almost every engine I have seen that died from a nitrous overdose had a hole burned in the piston from a lean condition or detonation.

If you have enough fuel and enough timing pulled out you can spray the hell out of a 5.0.

stock bottom end tho, i wouldnt push it much over a 200 shot, if you want to spray more, you need to tighten up the bottom end. The pistons tho, will handle it no prob. provided u dont go lean, and you back the timing off enough, thats y so many ppl do spray the 5.0s they handle it with ease. Tony

The stock head gaskets won't hold past a 150. Get some good head gaskets.

tuneing its not a prolbem ..not worried about runnig lean just how much befor the rods come out of the block for a vist..lol have any of u guys actually ran 200 shot if so what kit ....

ps i havent even ran the kit yet cuz i had a intake back fire that was a pain in tha but to figure out ended up being one of the valve guides making the intake valves sticking..no way in hell was i gonna spray it with it poping out the intake
