331 dart block, scat rotating assembly. je,dish pistons, afr 205 cc heads 54cc chambers, 9.5 to 1 compression, solid roller cam 614 intake 621 exhaust, approx 248 degrees of duration @ 50 thou. 110 lobe sep. weiand xcellerator, 850 holley, blow-through, f-1 procharger with a 3 row sheetmetal intercooler, two different pullies, one 15 lb (street)and one 18 lb (race). That sounds AWFULLY high to me for 93 octane and such high compression and boost. I would be leery to run more than about 18 degrees total timing. I have mine dialed in at 20 degrees probably seeing around 10 pounds of boost on 91 octane and 8.4:1. Start low and work your way up, not the other way around! Unless you're not averse to regularly changing head gaskets or risking melting pistons...

Dang, i have 20 total on my nonintercooled vert. It has a vortech and 15 lbs boost and 9 to 1. I thought 28 to 30 sounded high, but they say that the intercooler gives the ability to add timing. 8 to 10 seems like quite a bit. I'll for sure start low, I hate headgaskets and piston replacements.

Unless that Intercooler is the size of your roof you are better off keeping the total timing at 24 degrees and that is with 93 octane. What you have listed is to much timing so if nothing else start low and work up.

Sounds like a plan to me.

I would go with 20 degrees total, and INCH up from there.

I will creep up on the timing for sure. I'm damn sure not going to blow a bunch of pistons up in a $2000.00 block.
