Default New distributor for blower?

I`m down to the last few things i need for the blower install. I have 2 questions.

1 Do I need a new distributor? My stock one has 115k miles. If I should replace it, what should I look for.

2 Can you guys thiink of anything I missed. My combo will be the same except for the following.
42pph svo injectors, blow thru air meter, race by-pass, 255 inline and a 190 in tank fuel pump,msd btm,stock pullies ,boost & air/fuel gauges,and a p1sc- 3 core intercooler pullied for 14 lbs

Do you have an fmu? and I dont think the distributor is a must have. If you get one though an msd would be nice with that btm. With that 331, do you need new rails and upgraded fuel lines?

Actually I wasnt planning running an fmu with the 42`s. As for the fuel rails and lines, I found out today I would need to upgrade them for max power out of the setup. My speed shop is gonna dyno tune it and set the btm on a safe setting until we get around to it though. Great point, Thanks

i have 42# on my 306 with 15#s boost. I use a pms and i dont think i could get by w/out the fmu. Your dyno guys will know for sure, like you said. Let me know how it works out. Sounds powerful though

The blower is going on the week of May 3rd. I`ll let you know how it turns out. I just bought the 42`s so I could lose the fmu. I`m not gonna be happy if there too small.

Screw the FMU, you won't need it with 42's. Just get a good dyno tune.

I made 500rwhp safe on 42's and they weren't maxed. I would not worry about the dist. mine has a 165K on it. Your combo looks solid and should make for some fun.
