How do you use nitrous?
Ok ill be having the new Nitrous Oxide system installed on my 96 GT in the next week or two. I can't wait to use it. I do not know how exactly to use it. Like when racing, when o u activate the system. If there is anyone who runs nitrous that can walk me through a general quarter mile pass, that would be great. I feel like a goof asking this but I'm really not sure. All I know is that its probably not like in Fast and the Furious, where they just push a button and get thrown in the seat. I just want to know how to use it the right way. Thanks a lot. I dont mean to be picky but I'd really only like answers from people who run nitrous or have run nitrous. I dont want to risk anything at the track.

typically...
you will have a WOT (wide open throttle) switch that activates the N2O when the pedal hits the floor. to avoid exploding your motor, it is also recommended to get an RPM activated 'window' switch to allow the nitrous to only spray after the motor reaches 2000 RMP and to shut off before the engine reaches redline.
it's all automatic, so all you really have to do is arm the system and mash the pedal! Woo Hoo!

Thanks Snakeman. I think I can handle that. If anyone else has anything else to say about using nitrous in a run, please let me know. Thanks.

ALL THE TIME!
haha, Just setup a window switch, WOT switch and then put a button on your shift knob. Thats the best setup. Or if you don't give a **** like me, you can have just a shift knob switch thats always activated. :-D. Oh yea, retard your timing, dont think your cars invincible, I blew my head gaskets Skyler
