Novi 1000 installed
Well finally after 2 weeks worth of headaches and fixes (all of them are long stories) I finally have the car up and running pretty good. The kit is great for an entry level supercharger. I can definately feel the car running thorugh the gears a lot quicker, but once I hit 3rd, I can feel it dig in and act like there is no tomorrow for it. Same with 4th. It has a nice little quiet whine to it, that the exhaust seems to cover most of the time. Definately money well spent. I also got a Fluidyne to go with it for this summer. I figure I will need all the help I can get. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the car on the dyno before I left ffrom Phoenix. So, when I get back to Phoenix, I will hit the dyno and let you know how much more this kit made on my combo. Anybody who is looking to get into forced induction, and doesn;t have a lot of money, I highly suggest getting this kit!
Chris

I got the kit for about $1,850 from All Mustang Performance in Phoenix. Paxton had a rebate going on in December to where if you bought a superchatger, they'll send you a $100 rebate in the mail, so I actually got it for about $1,750. The kit comes with pretty much everything you need. If you have anymore questions just let me know.

Actually I am not sure how much boost I am getting rightn ow. Working on trying to get a boost gauge. If you happened to read my other post, you see the problems I am having getting a A/F ratio gauge to fit in a center gauge cage in the vents. I figured I would get the boost gauge to go with it so I know where I am at. I am figuring only 5psi right now. I think that is the entry level, upgradeable to 14psi I believe. Also, you can step up to the 2000 from here, just need the other head unit, the 2nd part of the 2 piece bracket because you already get the 1st piece with the 1000 kit, and probably a few other little things. BTW exgmguy, what did you use for the black paint on the body trim on your car? I have a blue LX with the ugly red tape on the body trim, and want it to be black to match the trim. Thanks and I hope this helped some.

Hey all,
I just received my kit, it is mint! Absolutely perfect kit, everything that I need is there. I got the kit for a VERY good price! I paid $1400 including the rebate. That is one sweet deal! I will be installing it this May. I am going to do a complete how to article when the time comes. Ian

Where did you find it for $1400? Chris_H could have save $350 and spent it on the new rear tires he's going to need.
