Cool Where to get a "power pipe"?

I want to replace the flex rubber tubing from the TB to the MAF......14" long by 3" wide. Where can I find one? Or, do I need to make it myself? Thanks for your .02

Well I mocked up a PP this last week relocating the 76mm C&L to the bottom, it didn't like that so I changed the design to keep it up towards the stock location. I used PVC to mock it up and I am just going to buy some mandrel bent tubing. I have found the tubing from any Diesel Truck shop, and a buddy of mine bought some from JC Whitney, I have a link to the Diesel Shop, I'll post it tomorrow from work. If I can make it there is no way I am going to spend $190 on one from AFM.

I heard on another board you can buy the C&L tube like the one that comes on the 76mm for $40 but I do not know for sure. Tiny advenger also sells one, they advertise in the back on the MM&FF and 5.0 I think.

Rick91GT is absolutely right, he knew about Tiny Avenger before i did www.tinyavenger.com

This site is focused at Thunderbird Turbo coupes, but in the middle of the product page is a 5.0L mustang elbow tube from the throttle body to the mass air meter. You can get it in either a black finish or chrome, both for $90. I may do that as well if i get a ram-air kit.

Rick has the idea there. I got the MAC cold air kit, and after getting it I noticed it was nothing more than chromed exhaust pipe. Show us yours when you get it done Rick!

Cool

Thanks guys.....'m not willing to pay $140 + for AFM either. I checked out the tiny avenger site - but I'll wait to see how yours works out first Rick!

For what it's worth;

I've had the Tiny Avenger' intake pipe for a couple of years. It fits perfectly, is high quality and looks great. The black finish model that I have was $10. less.
With that pipe and my Moroso fenderwell cold-air intake set-up, the engine compartment is much less cluttered and it looks like a pro set-up.

The Moroso cold-air intake and the Tiny Avenger inlet tube combined are worth about 5 HP, too. 2 HP for the inlet pipe, 3 HP for the Moroso cold-air intake.
