Help with questions?

DAMN
I have been wrestling with this question for about 5 months now. My 92 GT has about 90,000 miles on it and I have been thinking about getting a Vortech supercharger. I have just got out of school and have just enough money to get it. I'm worried about the mileage issue and the supercharger.

Will the A-Trim (sc-trim) running a low PSI possibly give me problems with this high mileage engine? The engine runs well. I really don't have enough money for extra problems.

On top off all this I'm trying to pay off school loans and planning on moving out next year. Do you guys think this supercharger is a good idea, or should I wait until I do an engine swap years from now? I almost feel like this is the best time to buy the SC, but I don't want to dig myself in a hole. NEED HELP!!!!

Well, you said you have to pay off school loans plus you want to move out in the next year. Do you really want to add another $1600 on top of that?

If it were me, I'd pay off some of my debt before I made any big purchases (blower, engine, etc.).

You have to figure out where your priorities lie.

If you still want to do the supercharger, do a compression check to make sure your engine is up to par. With that said, if everything checks out ok, you should be fine running 5-8 psi. Good luck with whatever you decide!
